Let me tell you about my journey…
Fitness is a lifestyle, a way that we live, not a thing that we do. Fit means something different to each one of us. A fit lifestyle is not 20 minute of activity 3 times per week. This is certainly part of it, but that does not define fit. I feel strongly that setting your mind to this truth is the best way to get the body to follow. For about 15 years, I tried almost every diet and exercise fad that was out there. One day, I just said enough is enough! I was tired of the unhealthy up and down, unsustainable weight loss. I made a decision to stop “dieting” and to start living a fit and healthy life. I began to transform my mind, my life and ultimately my body. I began to learn as much as could about clean eating and exercise.
Seeing all of the lifestyle benefits that came from my own personal journey, I felt my passion charged to help others transform their lives as well. I began pursing fitness and nutrition training and certifications, and continuing to educate myself so that I can help others.
A strong believer in discipline and hard work, I am also a realist. Motivation is key, but we are not always going to be motivated. I have seen the power of exercise, the power of nutrition, but we have to believe it to achieve it. I believe in the power of positivity, self belief, hard work and discipline. These are the ingredients to success. My programs focus on these aspects, and making fit living fun and sustainable.
